When Aliens invade the earth, Penelope’s parents leave to find help. When things go wrong, will Penelope be able to face her fears of barking dogs, yucky worms, ugly spiders and the dark to save her parents? Told with creative light and shadows, this play is filled with quirky and lovable characters in the era of the 1960’s sputnik hysteria. An imaginative roller coaster of investigating the unknown.

If your school would like to bring in a touring show, but is unable to cover the subsidized fee for the production, we highly recommend you explore funding through Daytrippers Children’s Charity. Daytrippers aims to remove financial barriers and enable enriched learning opportunities for in-need children across Canada. Daytrippers can provide up to $1500 to help elementary students in lower-income and remote communities to experience learning opportunities from recognized educational and cultural institutions to help unlock their full potential. Schools may also be eligible for the Community Initiatives Program (CIP) mentioned below.
If you are a small venue or organization and need assistance bringing a touring show into your community, you may be eligible to apply for the Project-Based stream of the Community Initiatives Program (CIP) from the Government of Alberta. Check their website for more information and eligibility.
