Summer Camp 2024

Kids can be shy or enthusiastic, intellectual, or physical, imaginative, or quiet - but they all have great stories to tell!  Creating a show in one-week time is an exhilarating experience!  Each class at camp is facilitated by two professional artists that love sharing their expertise in and passion for theatre making with young people.  Quest Theatre camps support all levels of creative development and nurture the organic ridiculous and brilliant ideas of your child!

  • Price: $375 (Earlybird - $325)

    Weeks: Jul 8, Jul 15, Jul 22, Jul 29, Aug 5, Aug 12

This one-week camp capitalizes on the imaginative talents of children aged 6 – 8. It does not take much to inspire theatrical adventures with this age group! Through playing creatively together, a story, and unique characters simply emerge! Some weeks we have no idea how we incorporate puppies, aliens, princesses, and detectives into a performance by Friday – but we get there! This camp is facilitated by two artist professionals!

  • Price: $375 (Earlybird - $325)

    Weeks: Jul 8, Jul 15, Jul 22, Jul 29, Aug 5, Aug 12

This one-week camp acknowledges the age group’s ability to weave complex stories and build multifaceted relationships. Working together, young people are guided to consider other campers’ ideas to satisfy the best story outcome. Group support and encouragement often lead to utilizing humour and character exploration. Campers blossom at this age and confidence is often a by-product of the fun! This camp is facilitated by two artist professionals!

  • Price: $600 (Earlybird - $535)

    Weeks: Jul 8, Aug 5

For those campers who LOVE drama and making plays, this two-week camp often involves prototyping performance material through writing, improvisation, or planned scene work. Instructors have the job of gathering, encouraging and reflecting ideas back to these budding young artists. It is not uncommon for campers to take creative ownership of their performance and drive the creative process. This camp is facilitated by two artist professionals!
